Location
The Rose Cottage was formally a traditional Sussex country pub circa 1680, sadly no longer trading. Nestled in the picturesque Sussex Downs National Park, today we provide self catering accommodation within the charming village of Alcistion.
Location and Places to Visit
Around 25 minutes to Brighton and with the town of Polegate a very short drive away we are well suited to accommodate all varieties of stay.
The immediate area is ideal for walking with a direct route up on to the Sussex Downs and the villages of Alfriston and Firle nearby, but there are also many interesting attractions and towns nearby including Seven Sisters Country Park, The Historic Town of Lewes, Michelham Priory and Herstmonceux Castle.
